Motion design system
Multimedia development

Designing a supplemental video series for a graduate-level IT course meant building something students could return to throughout the program, helping them grasp complex concepts and connect them to real-world applications. The work required a visual and motion approach that could support short, focused explanations while remaining consistent across a growing library of topics.

The visual language operated in two modes: filled illustrations for instructional moments, a blueprint-inspired line treatment for title cards and framing.

Both were built from the same underlying geometry, allowing the system to scale without losing cohesion.

A repeatable narrative structure guided each video from introduction through explanation and reflection. This structure created predictability for learners and production clarity for the team, while allowing flexibility where certain concepts required deeper emphasis.

The framework was later adopted as a model for supplemental course content and expanded across additional coursework and video projects throughout the university.
